My stay at Hotel Meriem Marrakech was a mixed experience. The location was quite convenient, and the rooms were clean and spacious. However, the service left a lot to be desired, and the dining options were disappointing. Overall, it was a decent place, but it could certainly use some improvements.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms I stayed in were spacious and clean, with a pleasant balcony overlooking the swimming pools. However, I noticed a few cleanliness issues around the curtains and under the beds.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally brusque and minimally helpful. I encountered rudeness, especially from the male receptionists, which added a negative touch to my stay. However, some staff like the breakfast servers were friendly and accommodating.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was quite good, being about a 30-minute walk to the medina along a busy, well-lit street. It felt safe, and I appreciated its proximity to transportation options.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were quite limited and not very inspiring. I found the breakfast lacking in variety, especially with no fruits available. The buffet dinners didn't excite me either, and overall, it felt like the food could be much better.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel provided basic facilities, but I found the gym disappointment—tiny and dirty, with minimal equipment. Additionally, I was surprised to find that the hotel didn't serve any water for free, which felt rather inflating.

7.2/10

My stay at Hotel Meriem Marrakech was quite underwhelming. While the location was great and the pool area was nice and clean, the room's condition left much to be desired and the service was often rude. I wouldn't rate it as a four-star experience at all, especially given the poor breakfast offerings and maintenance issues throughout.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was small and dated, with a drain issue in the bathroom and an uncomfortable mattress. Although it was somewhat clean, it definitely needs refurbishment to meet basic standards.
Service
5.0
The reception staff were often unfriendly and unhelpful. I felt like I was bothering them with my queries, which was quite disheartening.
Location
7.0
The hotel is perfectly located, within easy walking distance to attractions and markets. However, the surrounding streets had a lot of construction going on, which was a bit noisy at times.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was very disappointing with limited options, lacking any cereal or fresh fruits. It felt quite bland and poorly thought out for a location surrounded by fresh produce.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel offered a nice pool area, the gym was terribly disappointing—dirty, mostly locked, and quite small. I expected better facilities given the hotel's rating.

My stay at Hotel Meriem Marrakech was quite pleasant. The location is perfect, right near the city center, making it easy to explore the area. However, I did have some issues with cleanliness in my room, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a good experience, especially with the warm welcome and accommodating staff.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious, but I encountered some cleaning issues. Things felt sticky, and the shower setup wasn't my favorite. Overall, the room was comfortable and had adequate heating.
Service
7.0
Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, though I did encounter an aggressive waiter at breakfast. However, the reception team was very accommodating and went out of their way to assist with our requests.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Medina and close to many restaurants. This convenience made exploring the city super easy, with taxis readily available for longer distances.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was rather limited and could have offered more choices. However, I enjoyed the dinner options served as a buffet, especially the white sauce that I found delicious.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had good facilities like a sauna, which I appreciated after a long day. Although the pool was unheated and shaded, I still found the interior garden beautiful.

My stay at Hotel Meriem Marrakech was a mixed bag. the location was perfect for exploring the medina, but there were several issues that dampened my experience. While the rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, the service at times left much to be desired. it could definitely use some improvements.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were quite spacious and had a good layout, although my first room was in poor condition. The second room was better but came with its own issues like a slow-draining sink.
Service
5.0
While the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, I found the reception staff to be incredibly unhelpful and at times rude. they seemed overwhelmed and lacked the proper support to address concerns.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, within walking distance to the medina and many local eateries. this made it easy for me to explore.
Dining
5.0
The buffet dinners were not that inspiring. breakfast had limited options, and I found it better to eat out for meals. The coffee by the pool was a nice touch though.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel does have some amenities like a pool and facilities for car hire, but some areas felt neglected, and there were extra costs for things like the sauna and gym.

My stay at Hotel Meriem was a mixed bag. The location in Gueliz was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. While the pool area was lovely, I experienced a range of issues during my stay that kept it from being a great experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was sizable, but there were maintenance issues. many items felt shabby and not clean. I had to navigate a few broken aspects, like the air conditioning remote that didn’t work and the slow-draining sink.
Service
5.0
I found the service to be hit or miss. While some staff members, like the cleaning ladies, were friendly and helpful, I dealt with a rude restaurant manager who seemed to take out frustrations on guests.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was fantastic. I loved being close to the medina but far enough away from the craziness. It was easy to catch a taxi and explore local eateries as well.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a bit disappointing. I thought breakfast was very poor, offering limited options, though dinner offered a nice variety as a Swedish table. However, drinks were not included, which felt like an oversight.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had some decent facilities. The pool area was lovely, but the gym and sauna came with extra charges, which felt a bit excessive. Wifi was also spotty, which was frustrating for my stay.
